So about 1week ago, i went to Plainvanilla @ tiongbahru where it is a cafe which sells amazing cupcakes as well as other items such as cookies, cakes , scones etc..
It's located near yong siak rd where it has a whole stretch of cafes, bookshop and bar. the cafe has a tint of vintage theme to it with bicycles placed outside and dried up baby's breath hanging upside down as a form of decoration. It's really a soothing and relaxing place to hang out with your friends on a weekend if you enjoy cafe hopping like i do!
So yes, i went on a plainvanilla adventure as i went to get their cupcakes for the very first time. Though i heard great reviews and rave about their cupcakes, i really wanted to try it out myself to convince myself that it's really that delish as what my friends said.
AND GUESS WHAT... As expected, their cupcakes are so so so delicious that words can't express the happiness i had when i ate them. their cupcakes were really soft and it has a filling in the cupcake itself. That literally was quite surprising for me because having a filling in a cupcake is not what i have ever tried baking. But i love how the cupcakes melt in my mouth ( oh my, the crave is getting to a higher level HAHA )
Though their cupcakes are on a pricey side, trust me, its worth it. You'll love it so much if you're someone with a sweet tooth like yours truly HAAH. 1 cupcake cost $3.90 and 6 of it is $22. they have a range of flavours for you to choose from, about 10 flavours? I bought 8 flavours at one go... hmmm ( I didn't eat all of it of course!) i bought it for my friends and only kept 2 for myself.
Also, if i were to consider to buy their cupcakes or not i'll definitely get it because some other cupcakes shops sells their cupcakes at around $3.20 for 1? And they don't taste as nice as the plain vanilla ones which i've tried. ALSO ALSO, they don't have the filing that plain vanilla cupcake has!
