It's been a month ++ ever since i've posted a blogpost. Well, there just seem to be so so so much things to do and never ending tutorials, assignments and tests going on. BUT, it's september holiday right now and so i thought why not just do up a post as a form of de-stress too? Just before that, I'll let pictures to do the job for what had happen in August in my life.
National day celebrations in school
Went to find my cousins( they're just so cute!!)
Study date with my darling Lui
Just a usual selfie with my fav 阿嬷💖
So yes, looking out my window i see a really hazy Singapore with the PSI hitting 130+ in the noon. It hit me to realise how privilege i am to live in Singapore with fresh air or at least quite okay air to breathe in and be thankful for what i'm given.Perhaps because we're all born too fortunate in this generation such that we're taking things for granted. I won't deny that i am like that too. We will start complaining about everything and anything.( So Singaporean lo)
But then not long ago, i happen to notice this quote on my accounting notes saying "you can't change the cards you are dealt, just how you play the hand -Randy Pausch" so i thought maybe we should all change our perspectives to a more positive side? For students like me, we are having a sept break and so why not stop complaining about the haze and just study? For others, no matter in what situation that you're in,since we can't change whatever that had happen then why not make the best out of what you're having and be thankful that you still have that tiny little pinch of hope?
If you're broke for the week, be thankful to still have a shelter for you to live.
If you just broke up with your bf/gf, hellooo my friend there you have family and friends around you who will never ever give up on you. So be thankful and positive!
There's wayyyy to many IFs and its up to YOU on how you want to form that sentence.
I hope that this September's short break can be used to it's maximum and it's never too late to start NOW and get your fingers off your phones and do some things that are meaningful to you.
Time for me to get back on studying physics, maths , economics and repeat it all over again before i'll see you next time!
Lots of Love, Kah Ying
